Made with 100% Alpaca fibre from Hamilton Alpacas in Pembrokeshire.
The Glandwer jumper is a work horse of a garment disigned to be a wardrobe staple that keeps on giving. The hem and sleeves are made with a 2×2 rib knit and the neck is designed to be a wide relaxed rolled edge. It wont bobble and wont require much washing. Alpaca is naturally hypoalergenic, fire retardant and amazigly more insulating than wool. Its hard wearing, becomes softer with use and naturally wicks moisture away. Whats not to love?
The fibre is collected and taken to a local mill here in Ceredigion to process into yarn. Its my job to then create products with this precious material (no pressure)!
The colours are 100% natural which means no dye is used in the process.
